Join WCAPT for a technical presentation of the work currently being performed on the historic Sacramento Valley Station, part of the downtown transformation Sacramento is experiencing. Seismic retrofits, materials conservation and mural restoration will be covered, followed by a hard-hat tour of the station itself, just an eight minute walk from the Hostel. Both the presentation and the tour will be conducted at the site at 401 I Street in Sacramento. There is limited paid parking at the station, with additional parking at the public garage at 3rd and I streets (Follow signage to Old Town Sacramento, otherwise you will find yourself on I-5 or West Sacramento).
