2016 Annual General Meeting & Three Tours

  • Preservation Partners are organizations whose mission are comparable to WCAPT's and member rates for WCAPT events are extended to their membership.
  • A Student is a registered student member of WCAPT. Student membership is free with the presentation of student credentials.

Also, please note that the Annual Meeting is FREE to the public, as well as the reception. Only the tours require a ticket!

    

Join WCAPT for their 2016 Annual Meeting held this year at Taliesin West in Scottsdale, Arizona! Start the day with two exciting tours showcasing the work of two innovative architects Paolo Soleri and Frank Lloyd Wright, followed by a keynote lecture about the Missions Initiative, the Annual Meeting, and conclude the day with an unforgettable tour of Taliesin West and reception on the Music Pavilion Terrace.   

   

Tours qualify for AIA LU/HSW credits:

1 AIA LU/HSW hour (David & Gladys Wright House),

1 AIA LU/HSW hour (Cosanti Foundation),

1.5 AIA LU/HSW hours (Taliesin West).

   

(The pre-meeting tour of Arcosanti on Friday qualifies for 1.5 AIA LU/HSW hours.) It's not too late to register for this tour - space still available!

Heritage Without Borders: A profile of the Missions Initiative by Brooks Jeffery

  

Jeffery is the Director of the Drachman Institute and Professor of Heritage Conservation Graduate Certificate Program at the University of Arizona.

    

Followed by a special and short presentation by the 2016 WCAPT Student Scholarship recipient Daniel Olvera, a PhD student at the Programa Interinstitucional de Doctorado en Arquitectura in Mexico, who will speak about his research on the structural permanence of adobe structures in the Mexicali area.

$60 Members / $90 General Admission

WCAPT Refund and Cancellation Policy:

·      If you cancel more than 21 days of scheduled event, a fee of 100% of ticket cost will be charged for each participant.

·      If you cancel within 21 days of scheduled event, 50% will be provided.

·      No shows or cancellations the day of are responsible for 100% of event ticket cost.

·      All tickets are transferable.
