Join WCAPT's Annual General Meeting during the NPF's Home + History "A Different Way to Vegas " events.   

WCAPT is supporting and coordinating with Nevada Preservation Foundation's yearly events that examine the preservation and history of Las Vegas.  Support and attend these tours and events while attending WCAPT's annual meeting and events.

WCAPT's events are scheduled after most NPF's morning and afternoon events and tours. 

WCAPT's first event is a tour of the Mob Museum at 4:00 PM on Friday, April 26.  Robert Chattel, Chattel Architecture, the Mob Museum restoration architect will be the speaker and tour presenter. 

After AGM registration, you will receive a discounted ticket code to utilize to purchase the Mob Museum tour at:

WCAPT Kick-off Meet and Greet event will be held at the Underground Speakeasy located in the Mob Museum on Friday evening at 6:00 PM.  Entry does not require a Mob Museum ticket. 

Museum goers will access the Speakeasy directly from the museum.  Non-museum goers will access the Speakeasy by a separate building entrance.  Find a wooden barrel on the outside of the building, and then a green door down a flight of stairs.

The Annual General Meeting will be held on Saturday, April 27 at the historic Westside School conference room at 4:00 PM.  

AGM Keynote Speaker:  Mel Green

" Nevada - Rural to Urban?"  Nevada is a state of diversity in buildings and lifestyles. This talk will share several projects from ranches, ghost towns, and Las Vegas buildings.

After the Keynote speaker, a free public business meeting will take place to be followed with refreshments.

The WCAPT day will conclude with an 8:00 PM guided tour of the Neon Museum boneyard with Emily Fellmer, Senior Collections Manager, focusing on the preservation of iconic Las Vegas signage.  The museum admission fee is included in the AGM registration.

HOTEL RESERVATION CUT-OFF DATE: The cut-off date for accepting reservations into the guest room block is:  April 4, 2024.   Reservations received after this date, or requested changes, will be accepted based on Hotel’s room availability and prevailing rack rate.
